Crazy cross country

 Kia ora blog buddies. This Tuesday the whole school did  cross country. While a year  group was running there was 6 activities we did, all the year six's lead the games. When it came up to our year level I got really nervous but I ended up coming fifth. which I thought was pretty good. My fabulous teacher took some photos. Here they are:

  

My favourite part was the run, but if I were to pick one of the bus stop games it would have to be the blindfold game. Have you done cross country? If so what place did you come?

The crazy world of science

Hi blog buddies,
Today I went to The crazy world of science show. They were on tour when they came to our school. The people that were doing the show were Richard and Robyn. In the show we learnt about fire, water, bubbles, balloons and even nappies.  The Man that was doing the show was really cool and I even got to go up the front. This is a video of me at the front holding a leaf blower:

I looked a little bit stupid, but I had loads of fun I got a balloon animal I named Lucy as well

My favourite part was when he was talking about bubbles.
To make a simple bubble mix you need:
Water
Soap
Air

Then you use what ever you can find  to make the bubbles.

 What is H2O ?
H2O is water ( you know what water is so I don't need to tell you)
The H stands for hydrogen  the O stands for oxygen and the 2 means there are two atoms of hydrogen in the water molecule which basically makes water water.  

I wonder 
I wonder what the nappies were made out of. I am going to find out how they are made by looking on google

Snowboarding Sensation

What's  up blog buddies,

Last week I learnt how to snowboard! 

You probably think that I am not telling the truth but I am.

I stayed in a room with all my best friends. 

Our camp was at Mt Ruapehu ( Mt Ruapehu is in the North island of New Zealand )

We made a slide show of our trip and I wanted to share mine with you!

What was easy?
The work,  I found it easy because the topic we were working on was fun. 

What was hard? 
Learning how to snowboard. When you are on the mountain it is a lot harder than it looks. I thought the hardest part was turning. 

What was fun?
Everything, in our free time we could go sight seeing, snowboarding or skiing or tobogganing. I loved racing my Mum.
