In depth day with Des Hunt

Hey blog buddies, part of week three was Amazing. A Bestselling Author from our country New Zealand came to visit our school and do workshops with some people !
In the presentation with the year 5 and 6 students he told us about one of his Favourite books " The Last Tuatara " and how he sent it of to loads of publishers
but none of them accepted to publish the book. So he stopped writing for 3 years until he read a book called " Rejects "
Here Are some cool photos !

Now you have seen all the photos I made a slideshow with all my information about one of his larger books ' Sunken Forest'.
Here it  is !

Have you read one of his books ? I have 2 of them and they are signed because we could buy them and he would sign them in front of us ( wow ), I have ' Deadly Feathers ' and ' Search For The Kiwi Killer '  Do you like the slideshow or photos/ If you do please tell me that by leaving a Positive, Thoughtful and Helpful comment ( i will reply )!  Blog you later, Bye.

  1. Hi Abby, Skye from Waitemata,
I love the pictures of lake Waikaremoana they look so beautiful with the fresh water and the green of the tree and the cliffs. I love Des hunt and reading too! I would love to read that book because it sounds like it was a blast. Maybe next time maybe you could try to put a few more pictures on the post not the slide.
